  • How often do I need to get massages?
The frequency of massages varies from on the individual’s needs. Here are a couple of scenarios to give an idea of the frequency. Scenario 1 - Self-care & body maintenance: 1x per month; to assist with relaxation, reduce muscle tension, support mental health, and maintain well-being. Scenario 2 – Pain Relief or Recovery: 1-2x per week; address specific issues or conditions, manage chronic pain, and recover from injuries. This depends on the severity of your condition. Keep in mind in most cases of chronic pain and injury, you return to daily routines which can interfere with a complete recovery. That’s why frequent visits and home care play a crucial role in seeing results.
  • Is massage safe for everyone?
Although, massage is safe for everyone. We strongly suggest you consult with your doctor if you’re unsure or have an existing medical condition on whether massage is right for you. There are several contraindications to getting a massage such as blood thinners for cupping treatments, pregnancy (during the 1st trimester), untreated high blood pressure, diabetes, sunburn, or even active acne. It is always important to inform your therapist of every condition you experience, whether great or small. This can help protect you and your therapist.
  • What is home care all about?
